1. Scope

This disclaimer applies to every product listed on verolynlabs.com, to every order placed through this site, and to all associated documentation including certificates of analysis and the research summaries published under Learn.

It forms part of our Terms and Conditions and should be read alongside them.

2. Not for human or veterinary use

Materials supplied by Verolyn Labs are sold exclusively as laboratory reagents for in vitro research and laboratory experimentation conducted by qualified persons.

They are not supplied for, and must not be used for:

• consumption, ingestion, inhalation or injection by any person;
• topical or dermal application to any person;
• administration to any animal, whether companion, livestock or laboratory;
• diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation or prevention of any disease or condition;
• incorporation into any food, beverage, cosmetic, supplement or drug product;
• any clinical, therapeutic or diagnostic purpose whatsoever.

3. No therapeutic claims

Nothing on this site is a claim that any material we supply is safe or effective for any purpose in humans or animals. Where our research summaries describe published studies, they describe what was studied, in what model, and what was reported. They do not extrapolate those findings to people.

Statements about published research are not statements about outcomes you should expect, because no outcome in a person is contemplated by anything we sell.

4. Purchaser qualification

By placing an order you represent and warrant that:

• you are at least 21 years of age;
• you are purchasing on behalf of, or are affiliated with, a research institution, laboratory, university or commercial research organisation, or are otherwise qualified by training and experience to handle research chemicals safely;
• you will use the material solely for legitimate laboratory research;
• you will not resupply, resell or transfer the material to any person who intends to use it in a manner prohibited by this disclaimer;
• you are responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to you in your jurisdiction, including import requirements.

5. Handling and disposal

Research materials must be handled by trained personnel using appropriate controls, protective equipment and institutional safety procedures. Purchasers are responsible for assessing hazards before use and for disposing of unused material and containers in accordance with applicable regulations.

6. Regulatory status

The materials we supply have not been evaluated by the United States Food and Drug Administration or by any comparable regulatory authority for safety or efficacy in humans. They are not approved drugs and are not marketed as such.

Regulatory status differs by compound and by jurisdiction, and it changes. Where relevant, current status is described factually on the individual research page for that compound.

7. Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes acceptance of this disclaimer. If you do not accept it, do not order. Verolyn Labs reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, at any time, where we believe the intended use falls outside the terms set out above.
