Research summaries on this site are checked for scientific accuracy before they are published, by a reviewer with a relevant clinical background.

She reviews every research summary published on this site for scientific accuracy, checks that each claim is traceable to a cited primary source, and flags any wording that drifts from research context into implied outcome.
Every research summary on Verolyn Labs is checked for scientific accuracy by a licensed physician before it is published.
What review covers
Review is applied to the research summaries under Learn and to the descriptive content on each product page. The reviewer checks four things:
- That every factual statement traces to a primary source, and that the source says what the page claims it says.
- That study context is preserved — species, model, and whether a finding is in vitro, animal or human.
- That wording stays in research framing and does not drift into implied outcome, protocol or instruction for use.
- That regulatory status is described accurately and currently, without speculation about future decisions.
What review does not cover
Scientific review of published research is not medical advice, and this site does not provide it. Nothing on Verolyn Labs describes use in humans, and no content here should be read as a recommendation to do so.
The reviewer does not advise customers, does not review orders, and has no role in what the company chooses to stock.
Corrections
When a summary is found to be inaccurate, we correct the page and note the date of the correction rather than editing silently. If you believe something on this site misstates a source, write to research@verolynlabs.com with the page and the reference.
